How to take care of your tap brassware

In order to keep your brass taps in great condition you should use a 50% water and 50% white vinegar solution. Leave the solution on your taps for a few minutes, rinse and dry with a microfiber cloth. Ensure you don’t leave the vinegar solution on the tap for too long as this could result in tarnishing its finish.

Will brass tarnish?

Brushed brass textures are extremely durable and many of our metallic tap finishes have been hand-finished to give a brush stroke-like effect - therefore offering maximum durability. If looked after correctly your brass taps should not tarnish but rather develop a natural patina over time.
